AIDS has run a ruthless rampage in Africa. So many have died. So many children have been left orphaned and vulnerable. So many people have suffered. And with each devastating loss, Africa collectively cries out, “Who will look after our children?”

To that end, Watoto Childcare Ministries was birthed in 1994 out of the local Watoto Church. Watoto builds ‘Villages of Hope’ in order to provide holistic, residential care for orphaned and vulnerable children. These villages are comprised of homes, schools and medical clinics. In 2008, the vision was extended from Watoto’s Kampala base to include war-affected Gulu (Northern Uganda).

Our team will work alongside Watoto Ministries, helping them build a Village of Hope and provide basic programs and services for the widows and orphans of Gulu.
