Prostitution is illegal on the Las Vegas Strip and in Clark County, even though billboards offering “Full Service Ladies Direct to Your Room” suggest otherwise. A short 45-minute drive from Vegas you’ll find a collection of brothels. Following Christ’s example of meeting the woman at the well, the Strip Church seeks to minister to and build relationship with brothel-workers. A typical outreach or night of fellowship would include cooking for the women, cleaning, sharing thoughts and stories and just generally listening to voices not often given the chance to speak.

In addition, the Strip Church leads a seven-year-old effort to reach people (mostly men) at trade shows and corporate, industry conventions. Simply put, they want to “go where no one else is going.” They typically rent a booth, bring creative signage, and basically try to meet and build relationship with convention attendees BEFORE they make seriously destructive choices on the strip. Long-term, the Strip Church tries to connect convention attendees to churches in their home cities.

Our team will work alongside The Strip Church to take Christ’s love into places that most people wouldn’t expect to find it. Or, as the Strip Church says it, “Bringin’ the desert its drink!”
