During the past two aone:eight trips to Ethiopia, Beza Ministries introduced our teams to the street kid crisis. We tried to help Beza establish relationship with a small group of seven boys by sharing meals with them, playing foosball, and just walking and talking with them. Our team was so impacted by this experience and these seven boys, that this year we’re making ministry to street kids a focus.

We’ll also continue to work with Beza’s Entoto Outreach project, which includes a job-creation program for adults and a sports camp for youth. Entoto Mountain is home to approximately 4,000 men, women, and children, most of whom live with HIV/AIDS.

Additionally, we’ll visit a coffee farmer to experience the work of a harvest and learn about efforts the coffee co-op is making for fair trade farmers and their families.
