Our team will work alongside The Bolivia Life Center—an orphanage for boys in Cochabamba. The Life Center provides the boys with a safe home and all the essentials, including food, clothing, a bed, education, and most of all, the love of Christ. There are currently seventy-seven boys living together at the Life Center, ages five to eighteen.
The boys love to play soccer, so we’ll be collecting and bringing as much equipment as possible (jerseys, balls, nets, cones) to donate to the orphanage. We hope to play a lot of soccer while we’re there, using sport as a platform for teaching and demonstrating general life-skills, like teamwork, respect, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle.
We’ll also seek to serve the Life Center through sidewalk evangelism, general labor/maintenance projects, and helping with their education program where needed.
